Storytime
Storytime is a great way to introduce young children to the joy of books, language and rhyme through stories, songs and craft.
Our sessions are free and generally take place during school terms.
We offer different storytime sessions for various age groups at our Kiama and Gerringong branches.
Kiama Preschool Storytime
Designed especially for children aged 3-5, Kiama Preschool Storytime is a popular weekly program with stories, songs, rhymes and craft.
Kiama Preschool Storytime is free and is on every Wednesday, 10.30 - 11.30 am, during school term (it does not run during school holidays).
Bookings open the week prior to each session.
Gerringong Preschool Storytime
Suitable for preschool-age children aged 3-5, Gerringong preschool storytime is a fun weekly program with stories, games, songs, rhymes and craft.
Gerringong Preschool Storytime is on every Thursday during school term, from 10.30am to 11.15am at Gerringong Library.
Booking open the week prior to each session.
Kiama Toddler Tales
Toddlers are always busy, learning through exploration and experience.
Kiama Toddler Tales is a storytime program especially for children aged 1-2 years, incorporating stories, puppets, movement and music.
Come along every second Friday during school term at 10.30 – 11.00 am to sing songs, share rhymes and play word games.
Bookings open two weeks prior to each session. Please book all attendees (including carers and siblings).
Gerringong Toddler Tales
Toddlers are always busy, learning through exploration and experience.
Gerringong Toddler Tales is a storytime program especially for children aged 1-2 years, incorporating stories, puppets, movement and music.
Come along every second Tuesday (except school holidays) at 10.30 – 11.00 am for stories, rhymes, songs and lots of fun.

At Kiama Library we believe it is never too early to begin reading to babies.
Kiama Baby Storytime is a free half-hour program especially for babies under 12 months.
Come along every second Tuesday at 10am for songs, stories, rhymes and lots of fun (except during school holidays).
We recommend one child per adult, and ask that you please make other arrangements for older brothers and sisters.
