Are you a professional or semi-professional local artist? Would you love the opportunity to exhibit your work?

Our GLaM Gallery exhibition program provides an opportunity for established and emerging artists in the Gerringong and Kiama communities to exhibit their work.

Who can be involved?

Exhibitions are open on an application basis, with priority given to exhibitors from the local government area:

  • 2D visual artists working professionally or semi-professionally
  • musicians, with recorded music
  • authors and poets, with published work
  • actors and performers, with theatre, stage, film or TV work.

Bookings

When making a booking request, please allow time for staff to process. If your request is time-sensitive, please call the library directly on 02 4234 2302.

Exhibition periods are available in weekly blocks, with bump-in on Fridays and bump-out on Thursdays. Exhibitors are responsible for everything that occurs in the space during that time (see Exhibition Guidelines(PDF, 5MB) for information on fees).

Application can be made at anytime and will be assessed by Council staff.

Bookings are not automatically guaranteed and each application will be assessed based on:

  • local residency of the artist
  • quality of work
  • practising professional or semi-professional artist

You will be notified via email following receipt and review of your booking application.

Council reserves the right to change or cancel your booking dates, with notification, to accommodate travelling exhibitions and museum exhibitions.

Payment can be made with cash or card and must be made prior to or on the day of the booking.
