The Friends of Kiama Library (FOKL) aims to support and enrich the Kiama public library service and local community, while providing a stimulating and enjoyable program for members.
FOKL activities include:
- meetings with interesting authors and speakers
- book launches and readings
- literary luncheons and dinners
- book sales
- Kiama Readers' Festival (every second year)
Members receive a discount to regular events (usually $8 for members, $10 for guests).
Membership rates
Individual membership: $7 pa
Family membership: $10 pa
Senior/concession/student: $5 pa
Five- and ten-year memberships are available at reduced rates.
Membership renewal
The renewal date for all memberships is at the end of May each year. If you have joined within two months of the renewal date you are exempt for the first year of your membership.
FOKL newsletter
The FOKL e-newsletter tells you all about upcoming events and news about the Friends of Kiama Library, and is sent out four or five times a year.
