Take the 2.3 kilometre tour at your leisure, stopping along the way to learn about a soldier’s story and sites that are important to Kiama’s First World War history.
The tour has 15 stops, beginning at Kiama Library, then circling around the WWI recruitment camps at the Showground, continuing along the Coastal Walk, following the Waratah March down Terralong Street and past the Memorial Arch, and concluding at Black Beach.

Remembering Charmian Clift

Born in Kiama in 1923, Charmian went on to become a prize-winning writer, literary collaborator with husband George Johnston, and one of the most influential newspaper columnists in Australia in the 1960s.
