Youth HSC resources student

At Kiama Library we offer HSC students:

  • Free membership, enabling you to borrow Excel study guides and other books - check out the 'HSC Express' section in our Youth area.
  • Wifi and computer access, and a relatively quiet place to study.
  • Study nights and HSC subject tutorials.
  • Access to many online databases, including Gale and Britannica Library.

State Library NSW HSC resources

Whether you're just starting out or looking for in-depth resources for your HSC year, there's something on the State Library HSC Help web page for you.

You'll find information and featured content for each of your subjects; help online and onsite; resources you can use at home, and research guides that bring together resources relevant to particular subjects. 

Find links to research guides for Society & Culture, English, History (Modern and Ancient) and Legal Studies as well as recent Smart research for HSC students webinars now accessible to view online.

UOW Year 12 Entry Pathways

The University of Wollongong Year 12 Entry Pathways programs aim to support students during the HSC process and allow them to experience university whilst still in high school.

Year 12 Summer Master Class (SMC)

Aimed at dedicated and newly commencing Year 12 students, this program allows for students to experience life as a university student whilst still in high school, with successful completion resulting in six credit points towards an undergraduate degree at UOW, a guaranteed admissions offer* with UOW, and access to university platforms and services.

Year 12 Future Me

Open to eligible students, allows students to receive weekly mentoring from current UOW students to navigate the HSC and post-school decision-making. HSC subject support and guidance on Early Admissions applications is also offered, plus a guaranteed admissions offer* with a UOW faculty or the UOW College upon completion.

Discovery Days

Discovery Days at UOW gives Year 12 students the opportunity to experience firsthand what a day at university is like.
