Sticks and Stones

Uta Hasenkrug-Cannon and David Bywater have been showing their work in combined exhibitions for some years and are now looking forward to presenting their work for the first time in Gerringong.

Harmony and Functionality meet in the works of ceramicist Uta Hasenkrug-Cannon

On display will be a variety of contemporary functional and decorative art, designed to bring beauty and joy to everyday life.

'For me, the fascination of handmade pottery lies in the moments of calm, peace and mindfulness which arise during the process of creation, and in the uniqueness of each finished piece.'

The Woodcraft of David Bywater: Thoughtful works made with heart and hand

Beautiful timbers hand crafted into bespoke furniture, wall decorations, a range of boxes, pens, toys, clocks, kitchen items and jewellery.

'To capture the spirit of the wood, to create something of beauty that is useful, long-lasting, and a tribute to the life of the tree; this is the challenge of the woodworker.'

Showing at the Gerringong Library and Museum Gallery
