Kiama Memorial Arch

The Kiama Memorial Arch is located on the corner of Terralong and Collins Streets, Kiama. It commemorates all servicemen who fought in World Wars who came from Kiama.

As the history of WW1 is incomplete, the information on this Honour Roll reflects this. Other Honour Rolls display names and initials differently from one Honour Roll to another for a variety of reasons. The information available is similarly incomplete and awaiting further detail.

It should also be noted that many enlistees gave false names, addressesand ages so they could be involved.

The arch has Laurel wreaths for WW1 and WW2, plaques commemorating the arch, and Honour Rolls of those who answered the call in WW1.

It also declares that 'This Memorial Arch has been erected by the residents of Kiama to the glory of God and in grateful recognition of the sacrifices of those who from this district served in the Great War 1914 -1918.'

The Honour Rolls below are from the front face of the Memorial Arch. The rolls are A to H (left handside) and H to Z (right handside).
