Dhandhang - Wiradjuri for cold wind
The artworks in this Contemporary Aboriginal Art exhibition have been inspired by the cooler months through autumn and winter on Salt Water Country. This exhibition is a study of Giwang (moon), night, land and water during the change of seasons.
Kay is a professional artist and proud Wiradjuri Woman of the Cowra Mob - Galari Clan. The combination of Kay's contemporary art training along with her cultural connections features strongly throughout her figurative and design work. Kay honours her Father, Grandfather and Grandmother through this exhibition platform.
