We've been working overtime to put together a exciting program of events this month - something for everyone. We've got school holiday activities, Senior's Week events, the Sydney Writers' Festival is livestreaming at the Library, Toddler Tales is back for 1-3 year olds, the Family History centre is open again, we've got a fabulous Makers' & Creators program of workshops lined up, and more ...

Buzz wire robotics, macrame craft, Marvel 3D printing, Brickman's LEGO maze challenge, writing workshops, movies and more ... we've got lots of fun activities and workshops happening at the library this school holidays for kid and teens. Book online - get in quick as spaces are strictly limited.

MEET LIBBY, OUR NEW eLIBARY APP

Browse, borrow and enjoy thousands of great eBooks, audio books and eMagazines on Libby app, by Overdrive. Simply download the Libby App from the App Store or Play Store, then register by selecting Kiama Library and entering your membership number and PIN (by default, your 8-digit date of birth).

SYDNEY WRITERS’ FESTIVAL LIVESTREAM @ KIAMA LIBRARY, 27-30 April

Now you can watch free livestreamed Sydney Writers’ Festival events in real time at Kiama Library, from 27-30 April. Choose from a line-up that includes Kate Grenville, Candice Fox, Judy Blume, Michael Robotham, Michelle de Kretser, Barrie Cassidy, Kerry O’Brien, David Marr, Rebecca Huntley, Laura Tingle, and more. SENIORS' WEEK ONLINE SAFETY WORKSHOP, Wed 21 April 10 am

Protect your personal information and money with hints and tips to help you avoid scams and stay safer online. This free 1-hour workshop covers safe passwords, paying safely online, avoiding scams and tricks, downloading and saving documents, and how to access help and support.

THE KIAMA FAMILY HISTORY CENTRE HAS REOPENED

There’s no time like the present to find out about your past. The Kiama Family History is open on Thursdays and Fridays, 9.30am - 3.30pm, and Saturdays 9.30am - 2pm. Bookings essential - call (02) 4233 1122.
