Kiama Conversation Hour
Online author events
Enjoy an interactive live author experience from the comfort of your own home. Over the next few months Kiama Library, in conjunction with NSW Public Libraries, is presenting a series of free online author events via Zoom. When you sign up to attend you will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the seminar, but you won’t be seen by the speakers or the other participants, so you can relax in your most comfortable clothes and enjoy your favourite beverage while you watch.
If you're new to Zoom, visit Zoom to get started or contact the library for assistance.

Radicals: Remembering the Sixties live online event, Thurs 13 May 2021, 1 pm
Radicals – Remembering the Sixties will make you feel like you were there, whether or not you really were. The sixties – an era of protest, free love, civil disobedience – marked a turning point for change. Radicals found their voices and used them. In Radicals some of the people doing the changing – including David Marr, Margret RoadKnight, Gary Foley, Jozefa Sobski and Geoffrey Robertson – reflect on how the decade changed them and Australian society forever.
Meet Radicals authors Meredith Burgmann and Nadia Wheatley live online in conversation with Melinda McNaughton.
Book online and we’ll send you a Zoom link to join the meeting. Numbers are limited for this free NSW Public Libraries virtual event and bookings are essential.

Authors include Monica McInerney, Belinda Alexandra, Samuel Johnson, James Reucassel, Mary Li, James Bradley, Chris Hammer, Lauren Chater, Garth Nix, Andrew Pippos, Julietta Henderson, Deborah Rodriguez, and General Sir Peter Cosgrove in conversation with Richard Glover.
